As a wildlife conservationist from Sydney, I’m always on the lookout for family-friendly destinations that embrace nature. Our recent stay at Hartbeespoort Holiday Resort was quite an experience! We occupied a 6-sleeper unit, but it initially fell short of what we expected compared to the online images. After a chat with the accommodating manager, Donavan, we were shifted to two “luxury” units that provided a better fit for our family's needs. The resort boasts beautiful grounds nestled among trees, perfect for leisurely strolls. We loved the kids' playground, which kept our little ones entertained, and they couldn’t get enough of the well-maintained pool and fun slides—a hit for sure! For some adventure, we took a trip on the Harties Cableway, offering breathtaking views—well worth it. I also recommend checking out the Pecanwood Golf & Country Club for a bit of relaxation. While there were some bumps, our family left with fond memories and plans to return. Thanks for a decent stay, and we’ll see you again!
